On October 27-28, project members from the Societies at Risk work packages gathered for a workshop to present ongoing work and brainstorm new ideas. Topics covered during the two days included Data uncertainty, Prediction uncertainty, Model uncertainty, and the Impacts of conflict. For example, VIEWS programmer Jim Dale presented current work on using tree-lags for spatio-temporal proximity, and Mihai Croicu introduced the upcoming multi-level actor model.
