Our team member Sara Kallis recently represented VIEWS at the Africa Transition Index Methodology Workshop. The workshop was held from 29-30 April 2024 at UN City in Copenhagen, organized by the Africa Facility to Support Inclusive Transitions (AFSIT), a collaborative initiative of the African Union Commission (AUC) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Throughout the two-day workshop, participants discussed data-driven initiatives and collaborated on developing the Africa Transition Index (ATI). Leveraging our expertise as an academic consortium offering an open-source early warning system, we provided insights to the predictive component of the index.
