Oslo, Norway – On 12 March, Angelica Lindqvist-McGowan travelled to Oslo to present the upcoming Data for Peace conference to staff at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO).

The conference, which will be held in Stockholm on 15–17 June, will bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers working at the intersection of data, technology, and peacebuilding. Hosted by the Department of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University, NYU Center on International Cooperation, and AI for Peace, the event aims to foster collaboration and innovation in the use of data-driven approaches to understand and prevent conflict. It is supported by CRAF’d, the Folke Bernadotte Academy, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.

Both VIEWS and PRIO are in-kind partners to the conference, and Angelica is a member of the Organizing Committee.
