Rome, February 21, 2025 – Dr. Paola Vesco, Deputy Director of the Violence & Impacts Early-Warning System (VIEWS) and Senior Researcher at PRIO and Uppsala University, delivered a compelling keynote address at the XIII Annual Conference of the Italian Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (IAERE) at Roma Tre University.
Titled “Navigating Uncertainty: Climate Variability, Armed Conflict, and Predicting Vulnerable Futures”, Dr. Vesco’s presentation highlighted the intricate linkages between climate extremes and armed conflict.
