Several VIEWS Team Members were present at the 2024 Edition of the DEMSCORE Conference held in Gothenburg between 13-14th June 2024.
Thorsten Rogall presented the VIEWS project at a panel featuring several other data providers, like UCDP and V-DEM. Additionally, team members Paola Vesco, Maxine Leis, Sofia Nordenving, and Thorsten Rogall presented at the panel “Estimating the Socio-Economic and Institutional Impact of Conflict – Results and Methodological Challenges”.
Team Member Alexa Timlick was also awarded the Demscore Best Master Thesis Award 2024 for her work titled “The Double-Edged Sword of Development Aid: Unanticipated Deviations and Conflict Onset”. Congratulations!
