Join VIEWS-researcher Simon Polichinel von der Maase for a roundtable on the power of collaboration between researchers and practitioners in San Francisco on Saturday April 6th at 8:15 – 10:00 AM PDT! The session is part of the 65th Annual Convention of the International Studies Association (ISA).

The roundtable brings together researchers from the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), University of Michigan, University of Oslo, and University of Georgia, and practitioners from Amnesty International, the Human Rights Data Analysis Group, and the Human Right Watch. Chaired by Dr. von der Maase, the participants will discuss and explore how the power of collaboration can be harnessed to foster effective and mutually beneficial partnerships between practitioners and academics in human rights and conflict studies.

Results from the roundtable discussion will be compiled into a paper presenting best practices and suggested ways forward.
