Stockholm, Sweden / Online – Senior Researcher Stefan Döring presented at the Second International Virtual Conference on Ukraine, hosted by KTH Royal Institute of Technology on August 22–23, 2025.
Döring contributed to Parallel Session E1: Environment, where he presented the study titled: “The impact of wartime environmental destruction on trust”, co-authored with Eric Skoog, Ruslana Moskotina, and Henrikas Bartusevičius.
The presentation examined the relationship between environmental damage caused by conflict and levels of social trust.
The conference featured leading scholars from four continents, including three Nobel laureates, with topics ranging from governance and infrastructure to energy and environmental recovery.
